Roma Inclusion in Focus – Strengthening Partnerships Between Ukraine and Germany
We are pleased to announce the roundtable “Roma Inclusion in Focus: Strengthening Partnerships Between Ukraine and Germany.”
Policymakers and civil society leaders from Ukraine and Germany will discuss the rights and needs of Roma in Ukraine, as well as Roma refugees from Ukraine in Germany. The roundtable will focus on advancing equal participation, combating antigypsyism, improving access to assistance programmes, and building sustainable partnerships.

Languages: Ukrainian and German, with simultaneous interpretation
Organizers: Youth Agency for the Advocacy of Roma Culture (ARCA) and the Central Council of German Sinti and Roma, in collaboration with the Society for Threatened Peoples, the Ukrainian Roma Advocacy Alliance (AURA), and the Evangelische Akademie zu Berlin, with support from the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and the Ukrainian Women’s Fund.

Reception Following the Roundtable
Following the roundtable, you are warmly invited to a reception where the newly founded Ukrainian Roma Advocacy Alliance (AURA) will be presented.
AURA works to combat antigypsyism and promotes the empowerment and equal participation of Roma in Ukraine and among Ukrainian Roma refugees.
This is a great opportunity to meet participants, network, and learn more about AURA’s work and initiatives.
