The project Through my mind
Difficult pages of history cannot be silenced. On the contrary, they require close attention and discussion to prevent the recurrence of those events.
The project "Through my mind" is dedicated to the events of World War II, the Roma genocide, and the situation of children at that time.
The project presentation was attended by foreign guests:
- Irina Spataru, Board Member of Romano Centro, Junior Expert at ODIHR in the Contact Point for Roma and Sinti Issues (Austria, Poland)
- Atanas Stoyanov, Project Manager at the Phiren Amenca International Youth Network, Brussels (Belgium)
- Maria-Georgina Dimitru, student at the Central European University, activist (Romania)
Marina Csikós, student at the Central European University, activist (Hungary)
They told their life stories, shared their successes and motivated Roma youth to self-realize and achieve their goals in the future. They also talked about the main trends and successful practices of the Roma youth movement.
The project was implemented with the support of the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung in Ukraine, the Roma Program of the International Renaissance Foundation and the Council of Europe.
