Look and Do Not Ever Forget: the 80th Anniversary of the Mass Murder of Roma in Auschwitz-Birkenau C

August 2 is a day of remembrance for all the more than 500,000 Sinti and Roma who were killed in Nazi-occupied Europe. On this date, a commemorative ceremony is held at the site of the executions of Roma in Auschwitz-Birkenau. The Dikh He Na Bister (Look and Don't Forget) commemoration project gathers hundreds of participants from all over Europe. Young people from different countries study, learn about unknown pages of history, visit memorial sites and honor the dead.
