On December 8th, an ARCA representative attended the event by OSCE-ODIHR in Vienna on the 4th, Implementation of the Action Plan on Improving the Situation of Roma and Sinti within the OSCE area.
The report addresses several significant challenges for Roma living in the OSCE region, including prejudice, school access, socioeconomic issues, and Roma strategies. The report also raises numerous other concerns that the war in Ukraine is currently causing for the Roma refugees from Ukraine, including prejudiced attitudes and stereotyping, as well as an increase in discrimination against them.
