International Conference “Recovery of Ukraine and the Perspective of Ukrainian Roma Civil Society”

Oct. 17, 2024

We are pleased to announce the upcoming International Conference titled “Recovery of Ukraine and the Perspective of Ukrainian Roma Civil Society,” scheduled for October 30, along with a round table discussion for Ukrainian Roma civil society on October 31 in Kyiv. Both events will be held in the framework of the Roma Forum on Ukraine 2024.

The conference will propose and discuss ways to ensure that Roma and their rights and needs are respected in the recovery process of Ukraine and during the accession process to the European Union and which roles the different stakeholders have, such as the government of Ukraine, the international community, and the Roma civil society.

Organized by the Youth Agency for the Advocacy of Roma Culture (ARCA), in collaboration with the State Service of Ukraine for Ethno-Politics and Freedom of Conscience (DESS) and the Central Council of German Sinti and Roma; and politically supported by the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine.
